Serving with Purpose: Our COVID-19 Response

When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, it brought unprecedented challenges to families across Maharashtra. SHARDA – responded immediately, mobilising our dedicated volunteers and resources to provide life-saving assistance. Our teams navigated complex lockdowns to organize safe and accessible health camps, ensuring vital medical care and consultations reached those in isolated communities. We also launched a widespread food packet distribution program to combat hunger, reaching thousands of individuals and families who had lost their livelihoods. Through these combined efforts—delivering medicine, health support, and nourishment—we stood in solidarity with our community, turning a time of crisis into a testament to resilience and human compassion.

Our relief efforts included:
